 | Hey everyone,Welcome to The Odysseus Society.The purpose of this forum is for men to vent about the women in their lives, whether real life or a fantasy.Think of this as your virtual water cooler conversations. It's not always easy to meet up with a few buddies and bullshit about what's on your mind. Problems with the opposite sex are especially hard to bring up in some cases. That's where the confidentiality of this forum comes into play. It encourages guys to be open and honest, and to get it all off their chest. Some new girl at work driving you crazy? Finding it hard to resist temptations when your in a committed relationship? Impossible to find the girl of your dreams? Tell us about it. Most of us have the same issues, or else we wouldn't be here in the first place.Don't think of think of this as some wussy way to bitch and moan. Hearing stories and advice from real guys, most of whom have been through the same shit, helps when you need some way to vent frustrations.Why Odysseus as our mascot?I would hope that most of you are at least familiar with the odyssey and the Trojan War. Well on the way back from Troy, Odysseus ran into a couple of road blocks. It took him ten years to return to his wife and child. Seven of which was spent as a sex slave to the sea nymph Calypso, who happened to be pretty damn hot and irresistible.Wait I know what you're going to say... But she's a sea nymph, and she's hot. And besides, Odysseus was far far away from his wife. What's seven years of being a sex slave to some hot sea nymph? Who's going to know the difference? Odysseus did. At first he refused Calypso, even though she was madly in love with him. He REFUSED! Though, we all know how persistent the ladies can be, especially hot sea nymphs. Calypso forced Odysseus to remain on her island as her lover for seven years. All the while, all he wanted to do was go back to Ithaca and to his wife. Through the intervention of Zeus, he finally got his wish....What a guy huh?Well most of us know his pain. Either we are in a relationship but can't help looking elsewhere, want to be in a relationship, or are just plan horn dogs, we can't escape the magic of the ladies.Enjoy the forum, and happy posting!-Administrator

| Just as a new way to keep other members in line. When a member gets a little too flirty or goes over the top with another women he shouldn't be messing around with, tell him to "put his hand on the wall." This quote comes from the movie Starship Troopers, when Career Sergent Zim tells Private Ace (after bitching about throwing knives "why do we need to throw knives in a nuke fight") to put his hand on the wall. After putting his hand on the wall, Zim throws the knife and impales Ace's hand on the wall and states "The enemy cannot push a button when its hand is impaled to a wall." Hence, this is a reminder that we cannot touch the lady in question when our hand is impaled against the wall. Dorky as it may seem, it fits. Thanks.-Administrator

| Ok guys. Ask and thou shalt receive... Here is the dream analysis section. I called it "Light Dream Analysis" because well lets face it, we are not in my office. I will try my best to analyze dreams if you write them in. In any case it will help ease your mind to write them down anyway. Symbology in dreams could be very important and figuring out what they mean could very well help you figure out what's going on in your mind and/or life.
